Blogging therapy

I realize that it’s been almost a month since my last post. There have been some major developments over the last few weeks that have taken me away from my normal blogging schedule. I now have a new exciting start-up along with new partners and I’ve also moved into new loft apartment converted from an old church.

It’s amazing just how quickly things have happened and through it all I always kept thinking: “Man I need to do some bogging.”  At several junctions over the last month, I have felt like my head was overflowing with ideas that just could not escape, so it’s time for a release.

The original pretext for my blog was to act as writing therapy. Taking time to write about what I feel and what’s going on around me frees my mind of clutter. Doing some research tonight, it became evident that my thoughts on blogging therapy is not very unique and that this desire to write is a common phenomenon.

Psychologists and other mental health professionals also have long noted the value of “bibliotherapy” specifically “writing therapy” in which people specifically use writing exercises to address and resolve problems in their lives.

Anyway, this is all just a roundabout way of saying that over the next few days I have a lot of stuff to blog about. If I don’t, my head might explode.
